The Orange County Armenian Genocide Memorial will stand in the heart of the Great Park in Irvine as a lasting tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide and the enduring strength of the Armenian people. Rooted in remembrance, the memorial is a symbol of both profound loss and unbreakable hope—a place for reflection, education, and unity.

The memorial is to be dedicated commensurate with the opening of the Heart of the Park in Irvine’s Great Park, scheduled for the first quarter of 2028. 

A Local Memorial with Global Significance

The Armenian Genocide Memorial in Irvine stands as Orange County’s first public monument to the Armenian Genocide—a powerful acknowledgment of truth and justice in the face of denial.
